Series 81 floorboard trim

    I have seen several examples of restored floorboards on 81’s.  Some have flat profile aluminum trim at the edges of the several boards, and others show a slightly rounded trim that would, of course, raise any rubber mat or carpet spread over the boards.  Anyone tell me what the original trim would have been?
