There is a significant collection of Virgil Marple’s cars going up for auction.

His daughter Wendy kept membership in PAS active for the specific purpose of finding a good home for the Pierce. Granted that is in in need of full restoration it would be a good driver level project for a handy and experienced DIY member.

It is a 1245 7 passenger sedan, Wendy did advertise it in the Emporium. I find it sad that lower value cars like this go to auctions where it will be lost among the wide assortment of vehicles.

It looks like a wide assortment of Studebakers are where the auction interest will be coming from.

I think the Pierce has the wrong dash if I remember correctly. I almost bought it until some medical issues preempted.
