I am putting together a set of wire wheels for my 1935 Pierce-Arrow and hopefully also for a long shot 1937 project. I know the difference between the “8” and “12” cylinder style. My problem is one odd wire wheel I have ended up with. This odd wheel has am 18″ rim, like the “8” cylinder wheel but has a hub cap hole that is 8″ in diameter. This wheel is a Kelsey Hayes type and 40 spokes. I think that this wheel is for a 1932 Pierce. Am I correct in my guess? I would like to trade this wheel for the more common later style “8” cylinder wheels.

    Regards, Alan
