I have a 37 Pierce 8 which has no oil warmer. My dumb question is which ports for oil on the block are inlets and which outlets ( from the oil pump )?

Right now the block, on the lower left side ( drivers side ) has a double fixture where one of the ports has a copper pipe what runs from it then right back into the block. Short circuiting where the oil warmer would be. However I am not sure if it should go to the lower port ( rather then to an upper one it actually goes to ).

I have to build an oil filter assembly ( plans by Bob Sands ) and don’t know what is where?

Is there an engine diagram somewhere with all this being labeled and sorted out?
