The headlamp lens for the Series 81 is a Bausch & Lomb Star. The O.D. is 8 1/8 inches for the fender mounted headlamps and 9 1/4 inches for the bracket headlamps.

I believe that there are a set of B&L Stars on ebay that will fit a Series 81.

If nothing else, there have been a few sets on ebay recently.

Hi Randy, your cars-owned list shows a ’27 series 80, the title of your question is for a Series 81, but your actual question is a year/model mis-match..

So I’ll add that series 80 lenses are Bosch & Lomb, 8 3/8″ diameter for the fender mounted headlights, and the same 9 1/4″ for drum headlamps.

I’ll have to check my Drum lenses on my ’26 to see if that holds true.

Fender mounts:

S80: 8 3/8 Bosch & Lomb

S81: 8 1/8 Bosch & Lomb
