Bellhousing confusion

I was working on installing the flywheel, clutch, transmission and ran into a problem.

The bellhousing I was planning on using has the starter mount on the passenger side of the engine (right lower).

I dragged out my ’33 and ’35 housings and they both have them on the driver side, (left upper)

Any clues to what the black bellhousing fits, it sure looks Pierce?

Is it off a V12?

That would be my guess, the starters are on the right side on a V-12.
