I just finished Roger Sherman’s new book, Charles Clifton of Pierce-Arrow, A Sure Hand and a Fine Automobile.

What a great read. Roger has told the story of one of the most influential men in automotive history. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested, not only in Pierce-Arrows but general early automotive history. We owe Roger a huge debt of gratitude for his labors producing such a fine book.

    Happy Motoring,

I am reading my copy; agree with Rick, it’s a good book and a great addition to the body of knowledge about the Pierce-Arrow.

I saw Clifton’s grave, thanks to a P-A Meet in Buffalo. Now I’m reading my

recently purchased masterpiece written by Roger Sherman. This lifetime

effort to explain one of Pierce-Arrow’s leading manager’s effect on the

make and the fledgling automobile industry, is sure to be a collector’s

item and has the potential to increase in value. Buy a copy to encourage

Roger to keep putting his efforts towards editing “The Arrow””. Do it today.”

I just finished the book. Thank you Roger for writing it. I found it to be well written and very informative.

I too am reading my copy I purchased at the Annual meet last month.

Thank you Roger, what a wonderful book.
