The Pierce-Arrow at the Aviation Meet
Regional Activities

The Pierce-Arrow Society has several active regional groups across the country. These groups hold local meetings and tours and publish their own newsletter. Joining one of the regions is a great way to meet other Pierce-Arrow enthusiasts in your area. Members of the local regions often travel together to the Annual Meet. There are active regions in the following areas:

Buffalo Region

Florida Region

Society members are invited to join the Florida Region and enjoy our FenderLight quarterly newsletter and its regular features of original Pierce-Arrow advertisements and Pierce-Arrow news, including Region projects such as our new Pierce-Arrow postage stamps. Great Lakes Region

The Great Lakes Region has more than 100 members in the boundary states of Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Michigan as well as western Ontario. We also have members in several other midwestern states. There is an activity coordinator for each State or Province. Our newsletter, The Great Lakes Archer covers events, vehicles, history and technical information.   • Updated! April 03, 2010 -- Troy, MI -- A Spring Thaw Open House will be held at EDL Services new 14,000 square foot facility and storage warehouse at 12 Noon. Lunch will be provided by GLR-PAS on site. All PAS members are welcome to attend whether a GLR Region member or not.   • Updated! April 24-25, 2010 -- Shipshewana. IN -- Our annual 'Spring Fling' tour will base near the geographic center of our region in Shipshewana, IN at the Der Ruhe Blatz Motel. Call (260) 768-7750 for reservations and mention the 'Pierce-Arrow' Group. We'll depart Saturday AM and do a back road tour to Napannee to visit the LaVine Restorations shop. Eric LaVine has done Pebble beach winners for a variety of Classics. We'll lunch at Amish Acres and then go on to the Appenzeller Bros. garage in Milford. Jan has done a lot of quality Pierce-Arrow mechanical work and Patrick does beautiful paint work. Returning to the motel, we'll chat and relax before going down the street to the famous Blue Gate Restaurant. Sunday morning we'll tour the fabulous Hostetler Hudson Museum with a Hudson Club historian. Saturday tour distance will be about 85 miles. Pierce-Arrows encouraged, but not required.   • June 04-06, 2010 -- Hickory Corners, MI -- CCCA Grand Experience/Grand Classic at the Gilmore Car Museum, home to CCCA, Franklin & Pierce-Arrow Museums.   • August 27-29, 2010 -- Hickory Corners, MI -- 7th Annual PAS 'Gathering at Gilmore' Meet. Two tour days & a Sunday show at the Pierce-Arrow Museum for PAS members and guests.   • September 19-24, 2010 -- Holland, MI -- Glidden Tour open to all 1942 and older cars. Based in Holland but will tour top many other West Coast Michigan spots.   • June 25-30, 2012 -- Kalamazoo, MI -- PAS Annual Meet will be held here and hosted by the Great Lakes Region. Put it on your calendar and don't miss what will be a huge event with great tours along the lake and the Pierce-Arrow Museum for Show Day. Chairpersons are Dave & Diana Stevens.
